Crimson Desert: Abyss Nexus Locations & Interactive Tracking Guide

Crimson Desert Abyss Nexus points are the game's primary fast travel network — flat stone plates engraved with circular patterns, scattered across all five regions of Pywel and inside several dungeon zones.

Once activated, open the world map, hover over the blue fast travel icon at any unlocked Nexus, and press confirm to instantly teleport there.

Fast travel is completely free: no silver cost, no stamina drain, no consumables required, unlimited uses.

MapMaster has pinned every confirmed Abyss Nexus location across all 17 maps — over 200 entries covering the main ground network, underground Nexuses, and dungeon-specific nodes that most guides don't reach.

The full Crimson Desert completion hub links every guide and region map together, so you can plan your fast travel network alongside every other collectible route.

How Abyss Nexus Points Work

Abyss Nexuses are round floor plates. Stand on one and wait for the ~5-second activation animation — energy flows through the plate, and the Nexus permanently unlocks.

No puzzle, no fight, no item required. After activation, it shows as a blue icon on your world map.

If you've activated Nexus points but can't see them on the map, the filter is the culprit — switch it to All or Environment to make them visible.

If you see a red "Cannot teleport in current state" message, you are in combat or moving. Leave combat, stand still, and try again.

How To Find Abyss Nexus Points

Neither Abyss Nexus points nor Abyss Cressets appear on your map until you physically discover them.

White "?" Mysterious Energy circles hint at their location — but not every "?" is a Nexus; some contain Ancient Ruins, Secret Places, or other puzzles.

There are two reliable detection methods:

  • Blinding Flash — activate Kliff's lantern ability (lantern button + light attack simultaneously) from elevated ground. The pulse highlights nearby Abyss-related objects with blue glints across a wide radius. Rooftops, cliff edges, and watchtowers all increase your detection radius significantly.

  • This checklist — every Nexus in the game is pinned on MapMaster's region maps with exact coordinates, searchable by location name.

The Recommended Strategy

Ring all 8 Bell Towers first to unfog the map, and grab Nexus points along the way.

Once all 8 Bells are rung, the full continental map is revealed and you have fast travel available across every region — the two activities share heavily overlapping routes, saving significant time.

See the Bell guide for all 8 Tower locations.

Players often focus exclusively on Abyss Nexuses because they're simpler to activate. But Abyss Cressets serve double duty as both fast travel points and Abyss Artifact skill points.

Prioritise Abyss Cressets over Nexuses when routes overlap — they reward both. See the Abyss Cresset guide for all 60 Secret Place locations.

Beyond the ground network, 40 Abyss Restoration challenges across the sky island layer unlock additional sky fast travel nodes — each lets you skydive down to the surrounding ground area, providing free vertical traversal into remote locations with no Nexus coverage.
